LEVELS OF COMPETENCE

Digital competencies can be verified on the following levels:

  • A Foundation
  • B Intermediate
  • C Advanced
  • D Highly Specialised

A. Level – Foundation
sets minimal requirements for a user within a particular module. Attender of this level knows basic theoretical concepts within a module (e.g. Document Processing) and can use general tools on the basic functional level. On this level approximately 15% of technological possibilities existing in this area are tested.

A1 – at basic level and with guidance.
A2 – at basic level and with autonomy and appropriate guidance where needed.

B. Level – Intermediate
verifies competencies defined for the Level A – Foundation, together with more extended usage of tools and ICT within a module. On this level approximately 30% of technological possibilities existing in this area are tested.

B3 – on their own and solving straightforward problems.
B4 – independently, according to own needs, and solving well-defined and non-routine problems.

C. Level – Advanced
proves one’s intermediate competencies with fluent usage of advanced ICT tools within a tested area. On this level approximately 60% of technological possibilities existing in this area are tested.

C5 – as well as guiding others,
C6 – according to own needs and those of others, and in complex contexts,

D. Level – Highly Specialised
proves proficiency, significant knowledge and practical skills in verified area. Approximately 90% of knowledge in particular tested area is verified during examination.

D7 – at highly specialised level,
D8 – at the most advanced and specialised level
